If the coupling exists, then a bite 1: 1 is transferred to your bite indicator (not included) and the respective color window lights up. The color coding means you know immediately which rod has hit and you won't miss a bite.
The color of the pendulum bite indicator is matched to the Vipex bite indicator series (not included). However, thanks to its 2.5mm jack plug , it can be combined with almost all commercially available bite indicators (not included). In this case, too, the bite transmission takes place directly on the bite indicator (not included), of your choice.
