The XCite BF is a free-spool reel for all types of modern match fishing.
The free-running system is an indispensable asset, especially when it comes to larger coarse fish such as carp. It can be infinitely adjusted so that optimal adaptation to the existing fishing conditions is always possible. The XCite BF also has a smooth barrel, a finely adjustable front brake, an aluminum crank and an aluminum spool designed for long casts.
There are 2 line clips installed on each spool, a traditional plastic line clip and the Gentle Line clip from Browning. This is a flexible line clip that releases the line if the pressure becomes too strong. The Gentle Line Clip allows very precise fishing without having to worry about breaking the line or losing fish.
