Krill are small crustaceans living in the Antarctic Southern Ocean, containing both high-quality protein and oil. Their protein includes essential amino acids, and their oil is rich in nutritionally beneficial omega-3 fatty acids.
For CC Moore products, only the purest Antarctic krill (Euphausia Superba) is used since it comes from the clean and scarcely polluted waters of the Antarctic, making it of better quality than others.
