The Leobritz Deepdrop by Daiwa is the optimal combination for the small and strong Leobritz 300 electric reel. The Deepdrop rod is ideally suited for medium-heavy deep-sea fishing with weights up to 600g for redfish, burbot, and ling – but is also excellent for jigging in midwater for large pollock and cod.

The thin and very light HVF carbon fiber blank in the handle, in combination with the Daiwa Glatech technology in the tip, offers the perfect alliance of Power and sensitivity, making the blank almost indestructible even under extreme fishing conditions.

The sensitive tip excellently indicates even fine bites at great depths and prevents fish from coming off the hook during lifting from great depths through its progressive, semi-parabolic action.

With the X45X technology, a layer of carbon fiber was applied at a 45-degree angle on the blank surface – this offers maximum effect on compression during the fight and optimizes the twist resistance of the blank.

The V-Joint Put-in joint connection allows for the construction of very thin and light tip sections, which improve the balance and ensure an optimal bending curve. The use of Glatech material in the tip section provides high elasticity and maximum load capacity.

The original Fuji Alconite K guides reduce the risk of tangles at the rings and represent another quality feature of the Deepdrop rod. The high-quality ALPS aluminum reel seat with double screw ensures lasting and optimal reel support.

The Leobritz Deepdrop is our tip for fishing for redfish at depths around 180m with little current.
