Boat fishing has been increasing in popularity for years. For the special fishing use on small boats such as kayaks, canoes, belly boats, and SUPs, we have now developed a special rod series with particular features.For absolutely uncomplicated and flexible handling, the Yak&Belly rods are equipped with extra-short grips. The thin and extremely fast blanks offer optimal feeling and high power reserves for the fight.
The total length of 2.15m or 2.25m was specifically designed for handling in close range. To be able to secure the rods with a safety line and carabiner to the boat or elsewhere if needed, a DAIWA exclusive, freely rotating metal ring with an eyelet is installed on the grip.
As an alternative securing option, a safety line can also be attached around the tapered aluminum ring in the grip.
The lineup of this Pro Staff series covers the most important fishing methods and target fish such as pike, zander, and perch. To also have a perfect boat rod at hand while traveling, the four-part model in 2.25m length offers ideal characteristics for successful fishing with medium to heavy spinning lures in fresh and salt water.
