The all-new design, where the motor is housed in the roller head, allows Daiwa engineers to increase the efficiency of the powerful motor. The Tanacom 1200 uses the same reliable unit as its predecessor, but in this new frame the engine produces even more power thanks to an improved drivetrain with more robust gears and internal components. This improves durability and minimizes performance losses.

More power also comes with more speed, which is often a challenge as faster recovery speed inevitably results in less torque. But with the Tanacom 1200, the engineers have successfully solved this problem. The fast retrieve speed is a standout feature of this reel, especially for deep sea fishing. It allows you to reposition or check baits in a flash. But that's not all - the new design also offers an increased line holding capacity of PE8/1000m.

The improved Dot Monitor LCD screen ensures a brighter display and better viewing angles, even when wearing polarized sunglasses.
