What is Chirp? A conventional sonar emits a single frequency pulse at a time. A CHIRP sonar (Compressed High Intensity Radiated Pulse) emits a continuous flow of frequencies from low to high. For this reason, the sonar values are much clearer and have a higher resolution compared to conventional sonars.
 
Extreme depth accuracy with CHIRP + 2 means surface disturbances and noise are minimal, allowing you to expect precise sonar values in very shallow water and locate fish up to 15 cm from the water surface. You can even differentiate irregularities on the bottom of the water body at depths of up to 100 m.

Bathymetric map creation: Create your own maps and access all your scans, maps, points of interest, photos, and notes via the Fish Deeper ™ App and web platform.
