The Chod Rig Beads have exactly the right diameter so that they can be mounted quickly and easily on the appropriately selected lead core material. The upper bead is equipped with a conical line guide, so that the bead and the rig can easily slip over any knots in the event of a line break.
The spacer is responsible, on the one hand, for the distance between the lead and the rig and, on the other hand, for buffering head impacts and rapid changes of direction of the carp when fighting. This reliably prevents the hook from coming loose.
