Whether light, medium, or large baits with the spinning or casting rod, the Expride range covers everything and shines with a sensitivity and feedback that hardly any other rod can match. Each model from the range is even available in two versions, as a 1+1 piece rod (one piece with removable handle) and as a classic 2-piece rod. You really are spoilt for choice.
The outstanding sensitivity and feedback of the Expride blanks are the result of two exclusive Shimano technologies. The High Modulus Full Carbon blanks are equipped with the Hi-Power X construction. This reduces blank twist during casting and in the fight and makes the blank extremely responsive. In addition, there is the Carbon Monocoque handle, which transfers more information from the blank to the hand and allows an unprecedented insight into any contacts of the bait with its underwater environment.
To further enhance the sensitivity and overall performance of the rod, the Expride is equipped with a Fuji SiC guide and a lightweight Shimano Ci4+ reel seat for spinning or Baitcasting reels. And anyone who thinks it couldn’t get any better hasn’t yet experienced the breathtaking design that results from the classic shiny black blank combined with the front cork grip and the Carbon Monocoque handle. One of the best rod designs we have ever seen.
In action, the Expride convinces all along the line. The 1-piece models have a blank with a one-piece main section, which bends with a seamless fast action and is unsurpassable in its directness. On the other hand, the 2-piece models are significantly more pleasant to transport and are hardly distinguishable in their action from the 1-piece models. Expride - one of our best rod series is now even better.
