The Calcutta Conquest is the flagship of the small multi-reels in the Shimano range!
At first glance you can't see any difference to the previous model, but some important improvements have been implemented to this technically sophisticated "Big Fish / Big Lure" fishing machine. The braking system has changed (and also the side plate, which no longer has external centrifugal brake adjustment), this has made room for the line guide, which now synchronizes with the line on the spool
The gear ratio is now 6.8:1 and the drag now has a ticking sound (like a spinning reel) when the line is pulled from the spool. Amazing new features for this beast of a small multi-reel!
Other technologies such as Hagane Body, MicroModule gear, X-Ship, S3D coil, 12 S-ARB ball bearings and much more were not left out. A technological masterpiece of engineering that makes fishing with heavy baits easy and smooth! Perfect for casting large artificial baits (softbaits, swimbaits, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits) for pike and other large predatory fish. Also very suitable for catfish fishing with teaser, fireball or U-pose.
