The SLX DC XT is the top model in the extremely popular SLX series. Equipped with Shimano's most advanced i-DC5 Intelligent Digital Control drag system and a lightweight MGL III spool, it offers excellent casting performance on a wide range of different bait sizes and casting weights, including light finesse baits.

The heart that ensures the remarkable casting performance is the combination of the lightweight MGL III spool with the i-DC5 Digital Casting Control System. The spool has an extremely low starting resistance and enables maximum casting distances when spooled with fine braided or monofilament lines. But the real secret is the exclusive i-DC5 system. i-DC5 has 2 brake controllers. The line type is set using the internal brake controller. The external brake controller has 4 semi-automatic setting options, which are selected depending on the bait size. There is also an “AUTO” function in which the DC system decides completely autonomously about the optimal brake settings. Daducrh makes casting child's play even for baitcasting beginners.

Inside the aluminum HAGANE body (with ultra-light CI4+ side plates) there is a combination of MicroModule Gear and X-SHIP.
