The Yasei Aspius was developed for targeted asp fishing and has the perfect technical properties to tame these unique predatory fish with their silver flanks. The Fast Action Blank enables casting distances that other rods cannot achieve. The blank also has a slightly softer middle section to absorb shock.

Experienced asp anglers know that the casting distance is often crucial to the success of the catch. This is especially true on large rivers, where the asps often stay in the faster current away from the bank. It is precisely under such conditions that the Yasei Aspius shows its full potential. With a length of 2.70m, the Fast Action Blank of this special rod catapults a wide range of baits between 10 and 35g to enormous casting distances.

In the event of a bite, which usually hits the rod brutally and mercilessly, the slightly softer middle part of the blank absorbs the impact, thus preventing line breaks and improving the bite yield. To exploit the full casting potential of this special rod, we recommend using a size 4000 spinning reel or one of the compact 5000 sizes.

The heart of the Yasei Aspius is a high modulus full carbon blank that is equipped with Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This carbon construction reduces blank twist when throwing, improving casting distance and precision. Less blank twist also ensures more direct contact with the fish during the fight, which optimizes the drill performance.
In order to get even more throwing distance and better overall performance, high-quality Fuji Alconite K-Type guides are installed.

In keeping with the high-quality design, a Fuji reel seat and a custom EVA split grip are installed, which underline the modern and subtle look of this rod and do justice to the brilliant overall performance.
