The Yasei Swimbait & Big-Bait is a special rod for fans of large and heavy swimbaits. The blank has a fast taper with a bit more flex in the middle area. This hybrid action of the blank improves the action of swimbaits when reeling in steadily and also has the necessary speed to animate the lure with twitches and jerks.The development of a perfect swimbait rod is fundamentally associated with some challenges. First, the rod must be able to cast large lures at a distance, therefore a fast action with a strong backbone is required.
Since swimbaits are usually reeled in constantly, similar to fishing with crankbaits, the rod must absorb some of the action of the lure, which in turn works best with a softer action.
