50:50 Method & Paste Green 2kg
Perfect for fishing where a lot of pellets are used!
Method feeder fishing is one of the most popular techniques used by modern match anglers. This means the fish have probably been caught on it a few times before and so may be a bit wary, or in some lakes they may have changed the way they feed.
Des Shipp noticed this when he kept getting hits from the method, but they didn't turn into actual bites. This is because the fish knocked all of the groundbait off the feeder without touching the hookbait, effectively leaving the hookbait with no food around it, defeating the purpose of fishing with a method feeder. So we decided to make a groundbait that is stickier, harder, denser and easy to compact on a method feeder for places where this occurs.
50:50 Method Paste Natural has a very high protein content, which comes from fishmeal and ground pellets, and this helps it thicken into a method feeder, meaning it resists the impact of throwing and hitting the water can easily withstand small impacts from fish trying to knock away the groundbait. For this reason it has gained a large following in both the UK and Europe for deep water method feeder fishing.
50:50 Method Paste Natural is the color of fish pellets, perfect for ponds where a lot of pellets are used.
Mixing instructions:
50:50 Method Paste is extremely easy to mix. For most method feeder fishing situations, empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket. Pour about a liter onto the groundbait and mix it thoroughly and then let it rest for 30 minutes, the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. To remove possible lumps and achieve an even consistency, you can strain the groundbait through a sieve.
When fishing in the sun, the groundbait can dry out a little. To counteract this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or, if it dries out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
