Extremely robust rod for catfish fishing!
With the Uni Cat Black Out series we are going “back to the roots” and incorporating the positive experiences of the then legendary Dream Fish with the latest rod building technology into the development. As back then, we rely on an almost indestructible catfish rod with a very sensitive tip action. This guarantees optimal bite detection and ensures incredible drilling pleasure.
In combination with the enormous power reserves of the hand section, we can build up targeted pressure in difficult situations and at the same time experience excellent drilling properties. Catfish fishing is often very rough, you have to react very quickly and flexibly to a wide variety of situations on the water and change places often.
With conventional SIC ring inserts, one or two breaks sometimes occur. To counteract this, the Black Out rods are equipped with 6-bar hard chrome guides without inserts.
