If mounted freely on the main line, there is a bead as knot protection and a swivel to which the leader is attached.

A stone weighing at least 2kg serves as the weight. This is connected to the ground floater using a sisal cord, to which a ripcord (mono approx. 0.40mm) is attached.

The depth at which you fish above the ground is determined by the length of the line and ripcord. You should always choose this length longer than the leader so that the bait cannot lie on the bottom. Excessive tension on the line should be avoided as this would pull the floater towards the bottom and result in an involuntary change in fishing depth.
