Feather-light reel made of carbon!

The new Alite Carbon combines high-strength carbon fiber materials with elaborately produced milled parts to create a top-class spinning reel that is extremely light and robust!

Body and rotor are made of ultra-light and high-strength carbon fiber! With higher strength, around 20% weight can be saved compared to aluminum/magnesium alloys. In addition, carbon fiber is completely corrosion-free and insensitive to salt water!

All moving parts are precision-optimized in complex steps for smooth gear running. The drive wheel, pinion, crankshaft, coil axle, etc. are made of metals of different hardness, which increases longevity and functional reliability. The drive wheel is provided with an additional surface treatment, which enables optical quality control using a laser system.

The carbon brake, which can be adjusted over a wide range, works in the aluminum spool, which has been optimized for braided lines. This is protected against splash water.

As with many spinning reels, the crank of the WFT Alite Carbon is screwed directly into the gearbox to ensure an absolutely tolerance-free connection even in tough use.
