In order to get on board with this trend, WFT was one of the first manufacturers to introduce deep-sea fishing reels with motor drive more than 15 years ago. Sales figures immediately rose to unexpected heights and WFT received a flood of reports of unusual fish catches.
The experiences from these years are now being incorporated into the Electra Pro 700PR, which is lighter and more comfortable. This reel also has a so-called jigging/impulse function. This means you can start immediate line retraction with just the push of a button. However, if you release the button again, the roll stops immediately.
This function is particularly attractive if you fish partially or permanently with moving bait. But it will also support you if you start tracking the bottom of a rising water bottom.
