The WFT Pro Salt 2 is our extremely robust full-metal stationary reel for all types of saltwater fishing. Derived from our already extremely robust and proven thousands of times Pro Salt I.Reel body, rotor, spool, and crank arm are made of Marinegrade Alloy Aluminum, which is used in ship and boiler construction due to its high strength and saltwater resistance. The aluminum side cover is additionally fitted with dowel pins, ensuring absolute torsional stiffness even under the highest mechanical loads.
Despite the robust full-metal construction, the WFT Pro Salt 2 is not too heavy and offers a reeling comfort through the precision Aluminum/ Stainless Steel/ Bronze gear, which is probably unique for reels of this performance class.
The entire body is sealed all around, so that the WFT Pro Salt 2 can be submerged in water one meter deep for up to an hour without water getting into the gear. 8+1 stainless steel bearings and a ceramic bearing in the titanium-coated line roller ensure a clean precise run.
The CNC aluminum crank is screwed directly into the stainless steel gear mount. This eliminates any crank play! The cold-forged, solid-cut aluminum spool sits widely on the bronze spool carrier of the stainless steel axle. The WFT Pro Salt 2 is the best stationary reel for saltwater fishing that we could ever offer you.
